Good news for educational technology in adult education!
The U.S. Senate has confirmed Brenda Dann-Messier as the Department of Education's new assistant secretary for vocational and adult education (OVAE). Besides serving as president for a highly successful and recognized adult education and family literacy program in Rhode Island over the past 10 year, Dann-Messier has a master's degree in instructional technology (from Rhode Island College).
