Draft National Educational Technology Plan Introduced to the Public

I apologize to blog followers  I have not posted in quite a while. February was a very busy month for our Professional Development Center and the two major snow events made things even more hectic. I plan to make up for lost time by posting new technology info and ideas more often this, and next, month.

Here's some news . . .

The U.S. Department of Education released the Draft National Educational Technology Plan on March 5, 2010. The use of technology in five major areas were identified: for learning, assessment, teaching, infrastructure, and productivity. The entire plan can be found online at www2.ed.gov/about/offices/list/os/technology/index.html. A more condensed analysis of the plan is available from the National Center for Technology Innovation at www.nationaltechcenter.org/index.php/2009/11/30/national-educational-technology-plan. I invite you to comment after reviewing the summary . . .
